Title: [SOLVED] Traffic Manager Window is not shown after startup
Post by: Fragglechen on January 14, 2025, 08:53:00 PM
Today the Traffic Manager crashed, after I had closed my SIM (MSFS 2024) since then the Traffic Manager is not anymore shown after Startup of Traffic Manager.

I start the Traffic Manager I see the loading window. But after everything is loaded, the window is not shown. I see it in Task bar but the preview is only a small part of a window and when I click on the icon nothing comes up.
I already deleted all files and copied them again from zip, but nothing changed. Also restart of the PC did not help

Sounds like it has moved itself to a random location on your screens, which is outside, of the area the monitors show.

Maybe this can help a bit:

QuoteWhen the window has focus, try ALT+SPACE to open the context menu. There you should see the options which usually include move/minimize/maximize. It should pop up in the visible space even though the window title bar cannot be seen

This was the reason.
Thank you very much

Hi Johan,
thanks for the hint, I had the same issue.
With "maximize" the window became visible again and took the full screen, it even overlapped the taskbar.
But I could not resize the window. "Move" did not help either as there was nothing to grap on the screen.

I had to minimze it to the taskbar again, hoovered with the mouse over the preview screen, pressed Alt+Space, which seemed to have no effect, and then pressed and held the "right arrow" key. The window increased and extended slowly into the visible part of the screen. Then I could grab the frame of the window and resize it with the mouse as usual.
I shut down and started TC again and it appeared on the screen in the window size that I had set.

Kind regards
Stefan
