Just found out a very good software to check your simobjects folder for missing repaints.
The software can looks for empty folders without a repaint and then u can remove them accordingly so u can fix all the errors.
i had almost 200 empty repaints folders and deleted them and verify setup reinstalled it all.

I have found that the empty folders come from https://juergenbaumbusch.de when they are downloaded to the temp repaint folder the only show a 1k zip file and the zip file is empty So i opened the repaint files from several airlines that were missing repaints and downloaded to the repaint temp folder just fine and the missing paints went away
There has been issues with 1 KB downloads recently. Kai may have found a fix for it, as it has been very sporadic behavior without a real pattern. One day it was Kyle's website, next day it was JB's website and so on.
Kai will release a test version for the internal testers this coming week to see if it fixes it. If yes, which his own initial tests shows, the 1 KB downloads might be a thing of the past. We can't promise it 100%, but hopefully a good amount of the files will be downloaded in full instead of 1 KB.

Hello whw0691 can u elaborate on how u do it manual, i also have the 1 kb problem in the repaint temp folder. How can u manually solve this? U mean download the repaints manual from jurgenbaumbusch's site? and put the zip files in the temp repaint folder?

There is an internal testing going on with AIG Manager to see if a fix Kai found yesterday for the 1 KB issue, might work.

me personally have solved the 1kb problem by downloading manually the zip files and put them in the "temp repaint" folder (almost 2 days) but there are still 5o plus empty folders and that is due the problem that sir Baumbusches site is not error free (links that are not excistent and redirect u to non excisting url's (isnt he infamous for lots lots of errors and wrong spelled texture name folders, but wow dont say anything wrong about it!) our full aigaim installation is now more or less solved, and the rest of the errors are indue to the software errors (read juergens wrong links for example Cambodias ATRs redirects u to the home page https://www.juergenbaumbusch.de/?p=4976) and there are several of these we cannot manually solve logically.
ps saudia cargos 747 are also infamous because the zip file name doesnt excist anymore, it ends with fsx but the one we download has fsx in the beginning name, we changed the new zip file to the old names one, but it doesnt install then

very strange , our AIGAIM install (every airline and GA installed MSFS P3D) is almost perfect , the only ones missing are JB only, for this reason verify setup is a very bad idea because u maybe end up with more empty folders (1kb problem) then u had before the manual install wich took us almost 2 days downloading zips from JB site. The temp repaints folder is deleted when u restart AIG this i didnt knew either lol.i can give u the 74 empty folders paints, i backed up all the 1kb zip files. Greetings Johan

the 1kb problem is fixed but what abouth the wrong redirect links on his site which AIGAIM obviously will follow and we end up with empty texture folders, thats why i shared the link of this software which helped us alot. many greetings Johan Frank.
The links are fine. But sometimes the files have false info, like a different texture-folder name than what is mentioned in the fltsim.txt.
Sadly that's something only JB can fix, not the AIG Manager. It's not jsut if the file is 1 KB that could be the issue. The file might also contain issues.
But to get it fixed, it also requires that JB actually sees the posts where we mention the issues and fix them. And sometimes he don't see it.

I know JB, and that's how he is. He paints a lot and sometimes things like this happen. He also still work and only use a bit of his spare time painting.
He already knows, and have said it's one of the things he is trying to improve on, but it still happens once in a while.
