Title: [SOLVED] Best Practices Enabling Traffic Controller

Hi,
My first post as a new user and the software seems to run OK after a few bumps in the road.  But Traffic Controller only works if I start it before I start MSFS 2024.  Is this normal?  I see it is enabled in the Marketplace.  However, I installed it downloading and running it rather than through the marketplace.. this was as per video instructions on YouTube.

The Marketplace /library is just MSFS way of saying that the addon is enabled, not that it's running through there.

But yes. You need to run AIGTC to be able to see the traffic.

Thanks, seems to be working fine then.  Is it also best practice to turn off the Aircraft Traffic in MSFS 2024.  Duplicative?

Yes. Turn off Airport Traffic in the sim. You may not get duplicate flights, but it's a way to eliminate a lot of issues where 2 AI injectors (the default and the AIG Traffic, will give issues.
