Title: Aircraft.cfg checker
Post by: Bvsawh on February 21, 2017, 01:42:18 PM
I suspect that there are problems with some of my aircraft.cfg files and need to check them for things like the fltsim.x entries being in the correct order and for missing entries etc. Is there an FSX compatible utility that can do this for me? Some of my cfgs such as the FAIB B73B have almost 400 entries so I REALLY don't want to do it manually.

ACA 2013 is great for that:

I use AI Aircraft Editor: http://www.owlsnest.eu/tools.php You can validate each installed aircraft type, and it checks for all sorts of errors, including whether the correct fx files are installed and that the assigned callsign exists in FS. Plus it's compatible with all current MS-based flightsims.

I believe that that checker's functionality is also included in AI-Aircraft Editor (should be on the same owlsnest page).

Yep, that's the one I meant - I had a brain fart.
