Title: X52Pro in P3Dv4 problem
Post by: PH-MCR on June 30, 2017, 08:20:05 AM
Maybe some of you have also encountered this phenomenon.

I used the some Saitek/Smart profile for FSX and now in P3DV4. No problems except for the gear. When lowering or retracting gear the result is also that my flaps extend a position.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and programming software to no avail. Still all is ok, except for the gear handling.
I made a new profile from scratch, same issue.

When using that new profile in FSX, all is well. But in P3DV4 the gear handling is wrong. When using the keyboard command (G) it works fine. No flaps movement.
So all I can think if it must be in the way P3DV4 handles the command.

Any idea is welcomed!

Thanks,
Menno

Menno,

Check the joystick-settings in P3D V4 for the flaps. I found similar problems in V3 after a CTD. Found that P3D assigns a kind of "default" to your joystick. Just delete the flaps-settings assigned to your joystick.

Thank you Rob, I had noticed these 'button' assignments and in this case 'button 5' was also my gear up/down button and obviously interefered. Removing it solved the issue.
Thanks again!
