Title: defunct airlines
Post by: UniformAlpha on July 31, 2019, 05:47:48 PM
Hi
Really short one: I would like to see an option where I can deselect all defunct airlines when going further back in time. For example when crawling online data from summer 2015 and later, there should be no Air Berlin with this option.

we have a database in this forum. This was started with the release of OCI, to add now all airlies AIG has ever created and have been defunct/renamed till that data would be a huge task ;D

Hi,

Only definite next week.

CAA to review FAT service resumption petition next week

Taipei, Dec. 14 (CNA) The Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) said on Saturday that next week it is set to review a service resumption petition submitted by Far Eastern Air Transport Corp. (FAT), after the airline made a surprise announcement Thursday that it would stop all flights from Friday, citing financial problems.

Regards

Nigel

ViaAir (SRY) went under back in October. They're still listed in the OCI available online menu.

True, but updated Air France Group plans to account for this are not available at this time. Leave Joon installed for now or you will be missing Air France flights.

On that defunct airline list you have Zoom Air. But according to Wikipedia it restarted ops at the end of October. And Ch-Aviation says it's active.

Corrrect - they restarted operations in October. Just one route at the moment though - anyway I removed them from the list.  :)

Thanks for the info  ::cheers::

Helvetic is included in the Swiss flightplans. DEFUNCT is only a status in AIM - as long as the flightplans is isntalled the airline will be visible in P3D

Already added to the list.

Actually we have a topic about defunct airlines:
You can find it here: https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=32146.0

So maybe it's easier to keep this there instead? Will make it easier to follow one topic instead of several topics. Usially we are quite fast adding airlines that is defunct to the list, so no real need to keep this topic alive? At least it would be easier for all to just follow the one mentioned above.
