« on: May 18, 2008, 02:39:45 PM »
The Alpha India Group is proud to release the Boeing 757-300 for AI traffic.

As with the 757-200, this latest model contains the standard features: XML coded flaps for takeoff/landing, animated thrust reversers/flaps/slats/spoilers, as well as compressing landing gear. Also included are optional settings for exhaust smoke and Shockwave lights.

This release includes all current operators of the 757-300:

    * Arkia Israeli Airlines
    * Condor
    * Continental Airlines
    * Icelandair
    * Northwest Airlines
    * Thomas Cook

We hope you enjoy our latest addition!

Hey John,

We're really not bothered what the gang think of our models, or wether or not it drags their computers into the ground.

We do this for fun - it's not our job, we don't get paid. We're laughing because some people take it upon themselves to be self-appointed rule maker in this little world we call ai.

If you like it - use it, if you don't, don't. It's as simple as that.

Well and good.. But if Mr. NWADC9 asks an innocent question why sneer at him and just say it's worse?

I am sorry I sneered.  :-[

Edit: Edited for 1) lack of self control, and 2) overuse of sneering.

Oh my, only in the AI World can this happen.

I made a little joke about the WOAI thread, I should have realised that would cause a complete drama and crisis for some.
I offer my humble apologies for apparently causing such consternation.

Now that said, this is getting really tiring.
Your efforts to create trouble are not appreciated, so give it a rest.

How about for once "thanks for the nice model" or something equally gracious?
This thread is hanging right on the edge of the lock, not because we dont enjoy the conversation and banter, but because one person is very obviously here to create trouble, and denying so is simply an insult to our intelligence.

Well, I don't read the WOAI forums so I offer my heartfelt apologies too. Sorry for derailing the topic. I just thought we could have a good old fashioned arguement. ::party:: I'll take my tongue out of my mouth now. Model sure looks nice.

John, I mean no disrespect here, you and I always got along well- but what exactly would we want to argue about? I think we all (and quite probably the hobby as a whole) saw enough of that last year to have our fill. This is a hobby, and we're here to have fun. Each and every model released by *any* group is good for the hobby as whole, and should be welcomed.
Things in the past are water under the bridge, none of us here want any trouble with any other group. I'm sure I am speaking for every team member at AIG when I say that.
I know that it is easy sometimes to misunderstand when someone is joking, or not being serious when on the internet...so I am sure we can just chalk all this up to a misinterpretation of what was actually meant.

Peace.

That's fair enough again, George. As I said, my tongue was firmly in cheek. Sometimes it just annoys me that there are still little digs.. Even though it is water under the bridge as you said.
