That's fair enough again, George. As I said, my tongue was firmly in cheek. Sometimes it just annoys me that there are still little digs.. Even though it is water under the bridge as you said.

It's all good John. Everyone needs to remember that this is supposed to be a fun hobby. ;);) :)

Excellent looking model, guys!

Oh my, only in the AI World can this happen.
I made a little joke about the WOAI thread, I should have realised that would cause a complete drama and crisis for some.
I offer my humble apologies for apparently causing such consternation.
Now that said, this is getting really tiring.
Your efforts to create trouble are not appreciated, so give it a rest.
How about for once "thanks for the nice model" or something equally gracious?
This thread is hanging right on the edge of the lock, not because we dont enjoy the conversation and banter, but because one person is very obviously here to create trouble, and denying so is simply an insult to our intelligence.
So, I guess asking you (Garry and George) if you'll port your great American Airlines paints over to the Super-Duper B752s is out of the question - you seem a little bitter at this time.

This message is brought to you with the coldest, darkest Canadian humour I could muster up on this beautiful, warm West Coast day.

Nah we're not bitter, Al. Maybe a little frustrated, but not bitter.
If you really like that style of AAL paint, I think Corey Ford has a nice set of AAL photoreal textures on Avsim for the AIA model. :)

Nah we're not bitter, Al. Maybe a little frustrated, but not bitter.
Andy wrote "We're really not bothered what the gang think of our models, or wether or not it drags their computers into the ground." With this statement, he has made it clear what audience the AIM B75x's are for - this should end any frustration on your part. A Decision and direction has been made.  ::cheers:: For me though, I'm still frustrated, I just have to remember to keep it focused at the source - MS (and ACES). They're the ones that decided to take AI to a whole new level of frame-rate killing if you choose to use the latest sim. And then threaten to pull the plug on all of these models for FS11 anyway!!!

Actually, I would really like your current style of AAL paint across the fleet for consistency :)

No offence to all who have spent their free time painting this livery.

Sorry Al - I made that statement out of a lack of self control on my own part.

I think we all know that was a rash thing to say!

How does this fare with the AIA model overall?

Answering the original question, the polycounts for the 752 and 753 are very similar, so you can expect similar results to the 752.

We've posted our LOD data on the website. :)

Ooooh...she sure looks purty..  ;D

Thanks guys, it'll make a nice addition to my hangar...and now to the tedious job of (yet again) recompiling everything to accommodate her  :-\

Congratulations on the 753 guys!  Both indeed look just great.  We collectors always appreciate more models, especially in this day and age where good, low-poly modelers are far a few between.  I look forward to AIG's future!   ::cheers::

I should take a few more vacations.  Every time I go AIG comes out with a new model.   My next one is planned in December so everybody keep your eyes open. :nuke:

As long as we get them out before Christmas, as I will be in the Caribbean for Christmas.  ;D
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

There was an old slogan that went "An AI Crew always has releases ready for Christmas, but they never say which year"..

surely we can't be serious.
