« on: June 17, 2013, 10:33:29 AM »
Morning all.

I have uploaded flight that are weekly flights but when i go to my fs9 to have a look they dont show  up as they should do.
I create everything by the manual i save it as Flightplans_test1 for example then i go to compile i have the tick box at the top done and save it as Traffic_test1.bgl still dont see the traffic but when i do this for 24hour this works fine.

also how does the TNG work im having trouble understanding this.

Are you looking at the airport on the correct day?

In FS9; Sunday=0, Monday=1, Tuesday=2 etc
In FSX; Monday=0, Tuesday=1, Wednesday =2 etc

yes if you don't have it flying anywhere else. Check the fltsim entry for the repaint is correct. Pay particular attention to the texture and sim lines.

Also if installed with TTools make sure the title line of the fltsim entry matches the entry in the aircraft.txt file.

And another thing that you may want to keep in mind, in the flightplans.txt file, the times are entered in as GMT, so make sure you are going to the airport at the equivalent local time of the GMT time.
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

All you need to do is look at the flightplan, Then open FS. eg in FS2004 select create flight, You see Selected time and season? Select change. You have local and GMT times. in GMT choose a time to either watch landing or takeoff. Select the day. In selected location change to the airport of choice and use a parking spot. Press OK and fly now. When its loaded, top tool bar. Select views > View options > Spot plane >OK. You are now looking at your aircraft. Now press Ctrl & W until the aircraft you wish to observe appears.

I am not sure of the time zone, but you would need to go to the airport at the local time for 10:30GMT.  It has been a while since I have used it, but I think the program TTools Companion will show you the time in the local time, not GMT time, plus it will show if there are any errors in the plans.  Again I am not 100% sure if this was the program or not that will show the times in local time and not GMT time.  But if your plans say 10:30, then when you load flight sim and set your date and time and airport information, instead of 10:30 local time, set it to 10:30 GMT to see if they show up, instead of 10:30, you may want to do 10:20 to see if it is at the gate.  But I would still suggest TTools Companion and use it to scan your ttools .txt files to see if there are any errors in the plans.
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?
