Was just walking back to the office from the bank.  My office is in Alexandria, which is just a bit north of the Sydney airport.  It is not all that uncommon to hear the roars of the Qantas and Virgin B737s and other jets overhead.  As I was walking I saw the ANZ B789 climbout and turn towards home.  It was so quiet, really nice sight.  And as a resident (for a few more weeks and then I am out of the company flat) in an apartment that is about two blocks away from the airport, it would be nice to get more jets that are this quiet.  I do not need an alarm clock, I can tell when it is 6am and the curfew lifted.
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

I know what you are talking about. Whenever I have to be in our headquarter for a few days I have to stay in a hotel underneath the glidepath - approx. 2km from the runway.
