New American Livery reg list?
« on: May 08, 2013, 05:17:31 AM »
I have taken it upon myself to add the new American Airlines livery to my FSX skies.   I use the Alpha India Summer 2011 flightplan, and my intention is to manually edit the ttools aircraft list to assign the relevant registration numbers to the new livery.   I know, only a tiny amount of the fleet is painted thus far, but I want to get started, as it will be easy to edit in the future as more of the fleet is painted.   And I'm sure there is going to be a post new livery flightplan at some point in the future, but I don't know when that will be, and want to start now. (such new flightplan will be very important to add the 777-300 to our flight sim skies!)

Anyhow, I found a grand total of 9 mainline regs with the new paint, listed below.   Is anyone aware of a live spreadsheet or wiki entry that tracks the repaint status?   I had found such resources in the past for other big mergers like Delta/Northwest and United/Continental, but no luck for the new AAL.

N717AN Boeing 777-300
N718AN Boeing 777-300
N719AN Boeing 777-300
N720AN Boeing 777-300 (painted; not delivered; added 3/7)
N721AN Boeing 777-300 (painted; not delivered; added 3/7)
N368AA Boeing 767-300
N7375A Boeing 767-300
N908NN Boeing 737-800
N803NN Boeing 737-800

Why not use the Winter 2012/2013 flightplan? It includes 2 B773's, and has been updated to include all NC planes as of ultimo March 2013.

Wow, I can't believe I missed that release!  Well, I was out of FSX for most of April, I usually check AVSIM's library "new releases" daily.   I should have done a search on the AVSIM library, but thanks for the headsup!

Guys,

Does anyone recall the website that listed the US Airways and American airlines (including subsidiaries) and which had been painted into the new American livery? I cant remember where i saw that on here...I was quite good as it gave you all the detailed registrations for Skywest etc etc
