A blue plastic wraps up in KPHL
« on: November 15, 2015, 03:46:03 AM »
Hi Fellas,

I read ANet forum about US Airways A320 crashed landing nose gear collapsed on March 2014. Someone saw the blue wraps up plastic overall aircraft parked in ramp in PHL.  I repainted myself. I took screenshot here it is.  Isn't that cool?

Is there a picture of the actual plane?

You could always remove the nose landing gear with some creative use of alpha channel. But then again, it would look weird, given that in real life it's resting on some stacked concrete barriers.

Yours is better than mine.  LOL!   Where did you get C-4 sign post from scenery? I can't find it. It may be different scenery author.  I think my is Skyfree or something  It was freeware scenery a few years ago.  It was fun to see blue plane.

@ Stuart & Big777jet:  Scenery is from Sunskyjet KPHL (freeware) for FSX. It'll slow down a good system! But it's very detailed.
                 I used scenery objects from a couple of scenery .bgls on my system with Instant Scenery 3 to add the cones and crates.
                 The 320 is the DJC 320-200 that I repainted. I added the plane to the US Airways flight plan with a dedicated parking code
                 and changed one of the afcad cargo parking spots to dedicate it to the 'blue'.

@Mosha: Stephen, what is 'Scousers' ?  A term I've not heard. ???

It is not FSX. Mine is a FS2004. Sunskyjet scenery freeware for both FS9 or FSX.    Yes, that's one Sunskyjet.

FYI, I found their website is still open but sadly the guys group were gave it up. It's not going to release DTW.  They were upset about Prepar3D scenery.   I don't know why.  :(

Natives of Liverpool. Some of whom were experts at removing 4 wheels from a car and leaving it supported on bricks. They were that quick Ferrari were going to hire some. But they had no clue how to put wheels back on.

Unless I missed something, DTW is still going to happen, the project's just going along VERY slowly.  However, IIRC, FS9 version will not be available immediately with the FSX version, if at all.
