identify black texture
« on: June 27, 2017, 05:28:54 PM »
When I am sitting on the ground and I see an aircraft with black texture, how can I find the directory and filename for an aircraft that is showing black textures?

Secondly, I suspect that they are incompatible with p3d v4, so how do I convert them?

What I Always do:
1. Go to views
2. Select AI traffic view
3. Cycle through the AI until you find the black aircraft
4. Note the reg at the top right side of the screen
5. Google the reg to see which aircraft it is..

I do the exact samething, and then identify the model in AI Aircraft Editor to find the source of the issue and then fix it.

Cant you also just use the mrai traffic view board? It will show airline and reg # if I'm not mistaken. Then you can take Google out of the equation as long as you know the aircraft type.

You can also use TrafficToolbox from the sim's SDK, very handy tool.
