Who is Weststar?
« on: December 07, 2018, 06:49:56 AM »
Some Australian spotters posted to Facebook today some shots of a B762 operated by somebody called Weststar.  Any ideas who this is?  I could only find a helicopter outfit by that name in Malaysia, but their webpage does not list any fixed wing aircraft.  Was interesting seeing a B762 in pax configuration (even though it may be a VIP craft since it was the ex-Google B762) in the air.  And a side note, this used to fly for Qantas, so an old bird came back home for a while.

Not a request or anything (I haven't even loaded P3D in such a long time), just interested in who this is.  Although, if someone was inclined..  ;)
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

I'm guessing you found the right company but that they haven't updated their website. They have listed a 727 and a 737 on their website.

Thanks, that is definitely the outfit.  It has been a while since I've looked at a 762, I forgot how "stubby"  it looks.
