I just (15 minutes ago) tried to disable the option to send PM's. And after I saved it, I enabled it again and saved. I have no idea if it's working, but it's worth a try now.

Also got a message on my own site, saying the registration is not working either. Will have a look at that.

EDIT: It's correct the registration is broken too.

Can provide some more information, getting a database error when trying to send a message containing special characters: In this case "e`"
(see it doesn't work here either - but possibly it also didn't work before - can't tell)

I wonder if the problem is the formatting in the database. Right now it's ISO-something, and there was an option to convert it to UTF-8, which supports special characters etc. This wasn't an issue on the old server, but I may need to convert it on the new server.
