Freightrunner issue EMB-120
« on: February 24, 2019, 01:33:35 PM »
Working on this for hours. I think it has something to do with Freightrunner. I can see all the textures and everything is fine in Model Converter X but I cannot get it to pass AI Aircraft editor and AIFP can't find them when I copy and past directly from the cfg.  I know that the texture name had a hypen in them which i removed..Maybe another opinion and set of eyeballs.. From Steve Lewis 2018-2019

I will attach the cfg file.

Thanks,
Bob M.

Which sim?   FS9 or FSX or P3D?

I just downloaded the FSX textures using the aifp and I don't see a hyphen in the texture name on those.   The textures are texture.ACE/N120HL etc.
Also, the name in the Aircraft.txt is:   title=AIA EMB120 Freight Runners Express N120HL   in both sets so I don't see where your hyphen is located.

However in the Aircraft.txt the texture= line should remain as it is:   texture=ACE/N120HL     The / has to remain if the texture folder is like this:   texture.ACE/N120HL.
If you removed the / in your aircraft.cfg this would explain why aifp can not find them.

Hope this helps.

I finally got it..P3dv4.. I was drilling down too far on the texture. It has an ACE folder with the textures inside that. I was only doing the 3 and not all at once. I don't recall on any airplane that I have installed that had the folder set up like that and it was missing "_" from the sim name, it was aia_emb120 not aia_emb_120.

Now I will see if aifp can find the texture. :)   yeah AIFP working...got anything like a Raytheon King Air 350 laying around ..lol.. The Embraers are showing up in Milwaukee nicely..

I never realized that the air file in the Aircraft.cfg was missing the _.    No one ever pointed that out.    :groan:
My fault as I was the one who did the cfg for Paco.

Maybe I used a different airfile? but anyway all fixed..was thrown by the texture file structure...all's good now.
