Met Adam Breed (P3D) and Plug for AIG
« on: June 08, 2019, 08:47:11 PM »
While attending my very first FS Expo (FSExpo2019) today, here in Orlando, Florida, I got the chance to meet Adam Breed.  Adam is the Lockheed Martin Program Manager responsible for the Prepar3D program.  He was doing an in-formal meet/greet and answering questions face-to-face.  With only a few seconds available (the crowd around us was growing quickly), I managed to request the P3D guys give the AI engine some new blood.  He did mention they are trying to open-up the AI engine even more to developers in future releases - I guess this would mean more AI capabilities in the SDK?  He asked if there was anything specific I like to see fixed which caught me a bit off-guard; all I could think of at that second, was to fix the swarm of AI (spacing) approaching large airports.  He did write down some notes and I did mention to him all the great AI work here at AIG (which he jotted down as well).

Then I was given a free P3D t-shirt and a can of "P3D Jet Fuel" energy drink.   ;D
It was a pretty cool day..   ::cheers::
