We will update AIM as soon as possible to work with Prepar3Dv5. But we also need to make sure that all used SimObjects are working. As long as this process has not been finished we will wait with an official update of AIM :)

Update:

Thanks to the developer of AI Lights Reborn, we know now what to update on the fx files. First files have been updated and will be checked within the sim over the next days. No release date yet ..

Update:

The default Landing Effect is not working with PBR models, until this is fixed by LM we can not update OCI to v5. We will make sure everything else will be update so as soon as this is fixed by LM we can release the update.

AIM for P3Dv5 will not be released before the fx_landing.fx has been fixed by LM. We have currently no timeframe for that. The fixes on our end are done for around 40% of all SimObjects so far.

Update:

LM has released HF1 for v5. According to the changelog some problems we have are still not fixed. We will run some tests in v5HF1 and then decide how to procede

AIM itself has been got the last stuff needed for v5. We will do some final tests in the next days and when everything is working, we will release the v5 update to the public. We had not the time yet to edit all FX files, we will release updates in the next weeks so for the rest.

Release:

At the moment the latest AIM 0.9.4.0 is uploaded to the Servers. This Version brings native support for P3Dv5 for AIM as well as some other improvements. We have not yet updated the fx files, we will release them step by step in the next weeks.

Side-by-Side (v4-v5):
AIM will ask you at the start what FS Version you are running (if you have more then 1 installed). If a OCI SimObject is exclusiv for v5 a currently installed v4 model will be upgraded when selecting v5 on startup. When changing back from v5 to v4 a exclusiv v5 model will be downgraded again.

LM has released P3Dv5.1 today with some major improvements!

BUT it looks like the "old" PBR textures are not fully working with TrueSky/EA active - we will investigate and try to contacrt the developers to see if they can fix it. In case we can not reach a developer we will try to provide an update ourself - but as with the Light Effects - this will take time
