Follow an AI aircraft..
« on: May 23, 2020, 06:04:53 PM »
Hello,

Now that I am exploring live traffic in the sim with ADS-B Live Traffic, I am wondering if there is a way to follow a specific AI airplane.
That is from beginning till the end...  if I use an UI aircraft at a certain airport, the view/plane that I follow gets lost a certain distance away.
Is there a way-a-round to keep that AI-aircraft insight all the way??

follow it all the way with the UI aircraft. If you are in a staic position it will at some point be out of range and get deleted by the internal system

I was afraid of that unfortunately.

Lorby's AITrackerX and Super Traffic Board both have solutions for this.

They create an invisible user aircraft and allow you to track the AI aircraft by following it closely. They both also allow you to auto tune the same ATC frequency as the AI aircraft so you can listed to ATC.

Using this process, the AI aircraft never leaves the vicinity of the user's AI reality bubble because the user is constantly following the AI aircraft. I have used the AITX program for years now for testing AI, AFCADS, etc.

Thanks Bruce,

The " invisible user aircraft and allow you to track the AI aircraft by following it closely" option is indeed what I mean.
I will ask Koala if he can implement such thing in his AIC program.

Thanks for the answer, much appreciated.
