Boeing 737 Max back in the skies
« on: December 09, 2020, 11:43:44 PM »
Brazilian airline Gol has resumed commercial flights using the plane grounded globally since March 2019

She's back !

Although..  "However, the airline will allow customers who do not wish to fly on a 737 Max to exchange their ticket"

American Airlines is expected to be the next operator to restart flights with the aircraft on 29 December.

I don't think so.   GOL's max has been flying close to capacity and it's only doing domestic flights right now.

Hard to tell a story from a picture, but mid way through the article is a cabin picture of the very first max flight.  Looks like there are plenty of people on board.

There's always going to be people who won't fly the max, there will be many, many more who will.    At least you have a choice right now.

And many actually don't care what they are flying (or rather most people won't care as long as they get to their destination).

I guess no blocked middle seats...feel bad for the dude in the picture with his mask around his chin.

I'm sure he'll get raked over the coals on social media probably for an "ill timed photo" as he was possibly getting a drink of water...
