How to create new trafficAircraft.bgl?
« on: April 11, 2021, 05:27:01 PM »
I've reinstalled Prepar3D v5 to the latest Hotfix and restored my previous trafficAircraft.bgl made by OCI (I think). Now when I start AI Manager it suggests to disable the default traffic file even though it is not default. If I agree to disable it then no trafficAircraft.bgl file appears in Scenery/World/Scenery folder at all and AI traffic is missing in 3D. I don't use AI Traffic Controller btw. If I want OCI to compile a brand new trafficAircraft.bgl what do I need to do?

Thanks.

I think I've messed something up, there's no AI traffic even though trafficAircraft.bgl is there.

How to rebuild?

Thanks.

The trafficAircraft.bgl is the default file. So that's why it's complaining finding the default one.

OCI don't make a trafficAircraft.bgl. Instead it compiles the individual airlines into separate bgl-files which can be found in the scenery-folder where you have your OCI planes and similar installed.

Sorry for the confusion. I took a long hiatus from P3Dv5 and forgot too much.

Thanks again for the pointer, Johan.
