Now whit textures: http://www.fsnordic.net/discussion/index.php/topic,82304.msg987143.html#msg987143 looks like it's least 72 and 75 coming!

Are you sure this model isn't supposed to be an UI-model? It looks to good to be an AI-model  :yeah:

I have to agree, it looks pretty damn impressive.  ::happy::

Well, here's hoping we'll get to retire the old ATR models soon :)
Cheers,

I've remembered wrong when I'd claimed he made the model for a EV-97 Eurostar. ::ashamed:: Of course it was Hans Palsson who made it. Oskari did the textures.
Please do because that ATR looks great!  :welcome:
Done! Now it's confirmed there's also 42-200/300, 42-500 and 72-200 coming.

For the non Finnish speaking members (if there's any ;D) here's the polycount dating back to 25.11:

LOD1: 2995
LOD2: 2300
LOD3: 1023
LOD4: 488
LOD5: 146
LOD6: 29

So, now all we need is the date it will be out.. These modellers have to understand we need to clear our diaries for an event like this..  ;D

It really does look very good and those LODs look pretty healthy, in my limited understanding..

Like everybody else, I am eager to replace my PAI ATR's apap.  ::party::
Best regards

Matthew

Well, let me shed some light on the least known variant of the ATR 42;

The ATR 42-400/420, is actually just a six bladed version of the -300/320, it is mostly known as the passenger version of the ATR 42-420MP Surveyor!!!:

The real only difference between the -320 and the -420 is the wingtip on the edge of the wing and the Six Blades, other than that, it's just another ATR 42-320.

The Only two known passenger operators of the -400/420 passenger version are Conviasa & CSA Czech Airlines:

Conviasa:

CSA Czech Airlines:

I hope this is enough information to inform you all..

Check the engine...

If you look close, you'll see that the -400 has the shape of the -320 engine with 6 blades, wilst the -500 has the same engine shape as the 72....

interesting information DHC8, didn't know about all these differences myself.

anyway, thinking that now there's just one single model covering all types I'll be more than
happy if both the 4 and 6 blades basic versions would be represented  :)
