I think I suggested this at Avsim a while back when AIM came out for MSFS, but it may have gotten lost. It would be easier to install/uninstall plans for the Countries we don't care about at the given moment.

Er!k

Or seperate commercial, cargo and GA..

Problem is that as soon as you have installed an airline AIG Manager "forgets" where this airline is flying to/from. So it don't know anything at all regarding countries, airports being flown to and so on.

But you can go here: https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=37228.0 and download the file in the opener. There you will be able to see the countries and so on for the different airlines installed.

Johan, what I'm asking for is the Country it originates from. Example:

Air France = France
United = United States

and so on.. that should help in itself.

not possible since there is simply no database for it on the server

Can't you add it to the database and then to the interface to be visible for selection? I know this may not be a fast implementation, but is it totally unachievable?

Kaiii3

we have no such database at all at the moment, so it would require some work to create it, update it from time to time and we need to check if we can host it for free over at AWS

I was actually coming here to suggest the same thing, but after reading the replies, I'm wondering - when you click on install, when the flightplan installation window pops up for the airline and map, it shows the country (along with other data), could the program not just read this data from wherever that originates from?

Also, it would be nice if the sort would stay sorted - and not revert back to the default after installing an airline.

no because for that window (and information) to be readable AIM needs to download and read the flightplan.

Please don't post in this, if you are requesting an airline.

We have a separate forum for that:
https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?board=121.0

And also rules on what to include for the request:
