Paris and Barcelona first I think. I've been getting mailed by LH for flights from Heathrow starting next year too (oh the joys of being in Miles&More..)

Hi Folks :)

Happy to see some urgently needed new timetables recently - like UAL -, thank you very much, but unfortunately I've some problems with recent airports.txt's; red markings are corrections according to stock FS data, respectively reliable own information about non stock airports for which I've made sceneries:

Ok while you are talking about the airport.txt, what is the actual purpose for it? I guess of course it tells FS where the plane should start and end up, but why does it need to be so exact? I thought FS would need the position close to the airport and then does the rest on its own. Not to talk about the weird part why they never programmed the AI engine in a way that it just needs the ICAO code and then uses internal data to position it.

Best regards,

Phil

Hi Jan, thanks for the fix, I updated our AirportDB accordingly. I didn't knew that wrong altitude could make sink AI plannes.. However I'm almost 100% certain that the minor lat/long adjustements are useless.

I made Druk Air, and I'm using the FS2004 scenery of f.x. Paro, and I have no problems with sunken or "lifted" planes. The airport.txt I have used for making the datas is the one I have collected from my own FS.

Hi mottoth :)

I'll never forget when I suddenly found my AI traffic hovering some 100ft above Lhasa airport, and found out, that any downloaded flightplan data 'infected' my previously correct altitude value in the airports.txt. The ZGGG data in the Air China wi08-09 is the data for the old airport, btw; the coordinates should be corrected here to match the new airport's position, otherwise coordinate's are really not sooo important, as you already mentioned.
