Honestly, I'll doubt any large airplane will ever be on time in the future. Both A and B set their goals very optimisticly to beat each other in the race, too optimisticly. The fact that be 787 is delayed is not a surprise to me.

When Thai heard their A380s were behind schedule, they got 8 x A330s discounted at 10 million USD each as compensation.

Does someone know what the date of the maiden flight should have been? And when is it supposed now to fly the first time?
