Shockwave 3D Redux and Nick's FX for AI
« on: April 01, 2009, 04:04:24 PM »
I'd never had any intention to touch a single bite in "aircraft.CFG" except for [fltsim.x] entries. Hence the lack of my knowledge about other entries in this file. But when I saw this comprehensive list on AIG homepage I couldn't resist putting my hands on it ;)

So, the question is: am I right in understanding that when I enter new lights in the [liGHTS] section I must delete the original entries found there completely? The reason I ask is that there are sometimes more entries (light.1, ., light.15) than in the modified AIG list and I'm confused whether I need to leave the other lights untouched and replace only those with numbers corresponding to AIG listing for a particular aircraft type.

Thank you for your help!

Yes, you completely replace the [lights] section with the modified version. The reason there are more entries in the new version is because of new effects (eg landing lights). :)
