Two questions!
« on: March 30, 2009, 12:24:08 PM »
I will highly appreciate if you help me to find:

1) best available web source to track aircraft movements (by reg no., etc.)

2) listing of FS2004 recognized default aircraft types and models to enter into AIRCRAFT.CFG (atc_type and atc_model)

EDIT: Got it.. Posting in a separate post now for all ;)

Thank you!

Flightaware is only for US. Acarsd.org is for Europe, but it's not the same way it's working. Acarsd is only showing callsign, regs and routes, but not where the plane is now, plus it's not everything it covers.

For the rest of the world.. Don't know.

You will actually find ACARS coverage extends (Sporadically) across the globe, you may have to do a lot of digging to find data and the data you find may not be as recent as you'd like, but it's better than nothing. :)
