AI Boeing 787
« on: July 18, 2009, 10:00:08 AM »
I was wondering if anyone has seen this model in AI or is anyone working on it.
I dont mean AIG, I mean anyone in the flight sim world that models aircraft.
AI Aardvark:  I always wished those guys would have done the 787 before they folded.
Maybe there is such an aircraft in the Ultimate traffic 2 package. ::goofy::

You will probably have to keep wondering - until one is released..   ::evilgrin::

For a whole series of reasons, few modellers will tell you what they are working on.  So far as the 787 is concerned, modellers tend to focus on aircraft types in service, for which accurate repaints can then be made and the aircraft accurately attached to flightplans.  It's by no means just the B787 - I very much doubt you will see an AI A350 in the near future.. ;)
Best regards

Matthew

Yeah, I feel like changing my name to "Keep Wondering" sometimes.
But, thanks for the reply. Its always nice to have someone that will reply to a post.
Charles Dayhuff, he was posting in the latter days of AI Malcontent forums that he was getting ready to do the MD-11.
Mr. Dayhuff is a very good modeler. Then he got pissed and quit. ::party2::
I still have not figured that out. (Just "Keep Wondering")
He had all his models pulled out of every package.
He is a nice man. I had several conversations with him and he even sent me flight plans he had to dig up one time.
Its always sad to see modelers go, almost like taking a gunshot.
I was looking forward to that MD-11.
Thanks for the reply
Roger
To Charles Dayhuff if your out there.   :reaction:

:D  Isnt that the truth.  These poor B@stards in the U.S. are so broke they cant afford the toilets for those aircraft.  :D
I guess they could fly at 16,000 so everyone could go out the window. ::party2::
(No offense to anyone in the United States, as I also am a natural born citizen)
I do get sick of hearing how broke everyone is though, as they fly off in a Lear jet for a ski weekend in Jackson Hole.
I look forward to my one meal a day, with a few snacks to tide me over.

Flying Finn, I don't think it's very judicious to link to the TFS website right now ..  ::rolleyes:

Sorry. I've been out of business for a week, thought any possible problems should have been solved. :P
