AIG Releases Update for the Boeing 757-200
« on: March 31, 2008, 09:43:55 PM »
The Alpha India Group has released an important update for the Boeing 757-200.

Issues fixed:

- Frame rate/performance issues
- More realistic FDE
- Contact point data issues
- AIR file now has the aircraft hidden in the FS menu

You can download the updates from AVSIM:

Non-Winglet Model Update: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=119560
Winglets Model Update: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=119561

Only download these updates if you downloaded the basefiles prior to 31st March, 2008.

The base packages on AVSIM (aig_752_rr_pw_basemodel.zip and aig_752w_rr_pw_basemodel.zip) now contain the update.

I'd say there is a real good chance of that happening, but we have quite a few repaints left to upload before that happens.

New batch uploaded to AVSim..
Thanks guys.
A heads-up, the BMI/Astreaus file contains a small glitch, it has a TEXTURES directory in the zip...
Nothing hard to fix, but I'd thought to mention it..

Another small glitch: The China Southern repaint has the correct RR model textures, but the lightmap is for the PW model.

Best regards,

Phil

Edit: Found another naming bug: The Ethiopian Cargo has a non matching texture folder name.

Updates have been issued for those 3 paints, and the originals removed.

Many thanks for pointing it out. :)
