AIM - Support / Re: AIG - AI Manager Flightsim Errors
« Last post by dumpfbacke1411 on October 12, 2019, 12:14:28 PM »
No problem,
but I did not ask for the logfiles.. I need the packed simobject folders  ;)

Go to: AIGAIM - OCI\SimObjects\

located the directories "AIGAIM_FAIB_A319-100_IAE" and "AIGAIM_FAIB_A320-200_IAE"
pack each in a separate zip file
open the zip files and remove all folders named "texture.***"
afterwards post a reply here and attache the two zip files

Hello good day "sharklet319",

after some time I can take care of AIG - AIM and the Sim again.

Still appears on Fltsim -> Errors
with the FAIB_A319-100_IAE with 60 livery entries
at the FAIB_A320-200_IAE at 120 livery entries
the already mentioned error in the model folder of the respective aircraft. What can I possibly do myself to fix these errors ??

Attached are some files that should be the problem.

Many thanks in advance for your interest and support. Thanks.

With best regards
Klaus

Hello good day "sharklet_a319"

sorry that I could not react immediately yesterday.
Thought I had attached the ZIP file. Unfortunately, that was not the case

But here she is.

kindly
Klaus

AIM - Suggestions / Manual Install: Mipmap Question
« Last post by airernie on October 12, 2019, 11:40:01 AM »
Not asking for support, just a question.

I noticed while doing some manual installs that frequently the downloaded texture folder contains a sub-folder with the mipmap version of the texture.

However, in every case this folder is discarded and the non-mipmap version is used in the install.

I would think the mipmaps would aid in FPS, so why not use the mipmapped version of the texture?

Thanks..

well that is afaik almost impossible. Prepar3Dv4 is running on a 64bit base, all addons developep for an older Prepar/FSX are using 32bit Code for their systems/gauges. Just coping them over to P3Dv4 is not all you need to to do. Some years ago i did some testing witht he default FSX A321 and B738 and somehow i manged to get around 90% of the systems working, be extracting data and recompile some things...

I am a Japanese student. I want to use Wilco's B737-500 with Prepar3Dv4, but the instrument is not displayed.  :oops:I would like to convert it so that it can be used with P3Dv4. Please tell me how. (It ’s okay if it ’s difficult.) :welcome:

AIG AI Manager / Re: Utilization (%)
« Last post by KampfHase on October 11, 2019, 10:18:54 PM »
For every airline a utilization (%) is given. What does it mean when an airline is indicated with 20% or 50%?

Flight time vs. ground time. 20% means its actually in the air 20% of all time in a week.
