Follow Johans advice but when it comes to the airfile, all you have to do is rename Jans airfile to "ai malcontent erj145" copy and replace the original air file.  It will save you a TON of time
I really don't know why some are suggesting wasting time changing the sim lines in the  [fltsim.x] entries  ::goofy::

Remembered event viewer. d3d9.dll a faulting module. Running a directx runtime installer I have kept didn't repair it. Managed to get control of the windows/system32 folder and replace it with one off another computer.

And now it runs.

Oh Windows. What we would we do with our lives if it worked or self repaired.

Thanks for jumping in.

Yeah but I don't know the exact steps for installing the fde. Replacing the old cf with a new one or like getting an new .air file?

Please, READ and LEARN how it works.     When I came here years ago, I knew next to nothing.    Maybe even less than that.   I asked, and I will continue to ask for help.     BUT, I also read the details of the contributors and tried to learn things for myself.      What exactly were you looking for when you posted your config? (like you did for the CRJ).     You wanted someone to fix it for you.      Take the initiative and try it yourself.    Once you do a few, you'll realize how EASY it actually is.     Good luck!

First of all, unzip the zip-file from Jan's site. Go to the E145XR folder in the unzipped folder. Open your current E145XR folder.

Make a backup of you current aircraft.cfg (can be as simple as making a zip-file where you include the aircraft.cfg).

Then copy all the [fltsim.x] entries from your current aircraft.cfg into the new one.

Then change the sim= lines in all the [fltsim.x] entries, so they match the air-file name for one from Jan's FDE.

Then copy the new aircraft.cfg (with the added [fltsim.x] entries) into your E145XR folder. Say yes to overwrite. Then also copy the air-file from Jan's into the same folder.

If everything is done correctly, it should be working fine.

There is nothing listed for AIM in processes to shut down. If you try to run it, AIGTech - AI Manager breifly appears in background process, then Apps, then disappears.

Why don't you try Jan's fde's and air files?     Concepts and background info is here:

Specifically, the AIM 145XR:

I've had it installed in my sim for ages.....can't say I've studied it too closely but Jan's modifications are excellent, IMO

I have an issue with my ERJ145xr; it lands too quick before it touches the runway. Here's my cfg for it.
