AIG is coming to MSFS2024

Hello everyone!

After a long beta-phase for MSFS2024 and an upcoming – sadly not yet released – SU2 we are happy to announce the public update for AIM and TC that will allow all users to use both applications with MSFS2024

As of now (MSFS SU1) there is sadly no way to use OCI for 2020 and 2024 with the same set of files. Users of 2020 can simply upgrade to 2024 by following this steps:

1) Start AIM in 2020 Mode and close after it has fully loaded

2) Verify that AIM has renamed the OCI package in MSFS2020 to “aig-aitraffic-oci”

3) Copy the directory to the MSFS2024 Community folder (DO NOT COPY any other AIG directory!)

3.1) Copy-Item -Path “H:\MSFS2020\Community\aig-aitraffic-oci*” -Destination “H:\MSFS2024\Community\aig-aitraffic-oci” -recurse -Force -Verbose (Sample CMD-command, Adjust the PATHS!!!!)

4) Start AIM in 2024 Mode

5) Open the Settings

6) Navigate to the OCI-Settings

7) Click “Reset SimObjects” (This will take several minutes!)

8) Restart AIM

 9) Run a Model Update when asked

  1. For me i am using Ai Manager and Traffic controler with MFS2024. For work correctly with me i start in first simulator go to an airport and only start Traffic controler. it seemes work correctly. OCI is very long to load.
